Michael is 11-years-old today. To celebrate, we took a group of his friends to Sky Zone in Mississauga for a jumping birthday party. We had 16 trampolines all to ourselves and had an absolute blast jumping, bouncing, playing dodge ball, and laughing for a solid hour.
I don’t know what it is about jumping on a trampoline that makes me feel about 10-years-old. I laugh hysterically and feel almost overwhelming joy. And I always end up feeling that I am so fortunate to have such easy access to something that makes me feel young, alive and deliciously joyful.
And here’s the big-kid bonus…jumping is good for me!
