I am a people person. I am a coach. I am a front-of-the-room facilitator. I need people. I need to interact and play and laugh and challenge and connect.
I bounced out of bed at 4:15 this morning in excited anticipation of my return to work today. As I was sitting on the 6:32am GoTrain, I was so excited I felt like I was going on holiday. I love the hustle and bustle of the commute. I love the energy, the people, and the snippets of conversation. I love being swept along in the seething mass of humanity as I get off the train at Union Station in Toronto.
As I made my way to my workshop with a spring in my step, I started to feel like myself again. And I had so much fun all day that by 4:30 I had even more energy than I did when I started at 9:00. As I left work feeling completely reinvigorated, all I could think was; ‘I didn’t just settle back into the flow of my life today, I did a colossal cannonball jump!’
I lived the dream today; I taught, I coached, I challenged, I laughed, and I connected. I did all those things that make me feel so wildly and so vibrantly alive.
And, I get to wake up tomorrow morning and do it all over again!
